Gee, Ron, where did I criticize? Did I strike a nerve or something? If so,
it wasn't my intention. I suspect that those who can afford the IC-7800
probably don't need to wonder if they are worth the money. I was merely
offering another point of view.
My 756ProII is a really great radio, and when I look at the 7800 perf specs,
they're better... but not that much better. The 7800 offers TWO complete
radios in one box, not a whole lot different than TWO 756ProII's offer in
two separate boxes. But again, this is just my 2 cents, your mileage may
vary, especially in your Rolls.

I have bought all the new ICOMs in Japan and love 'em. I guess if you
