There are a multitude of personal factors here, of course. To use a similar 
analogy.... A conversation I had, several months ago, with a well known 
European amateur who was also a sports car enthusiast, went as follows,

"Well Bob, shall I buy 5 Chevy Corvettes or 1 Ferrari 575M?" 

To him, someone well-heeled and someone who wanted something fairly elite, it 
WAS a no-brainer decision. He pointed his Euros towards Italy and never gave 
the Vettes another thought! 

I know I'd certainly go for the IC-7800. Hell, I dont need five of ANYTHING 
here. ;-)
