What sort of output is a 2KL power supply supposed to have?
I tould seem to me to be unlikely that anything really serious
could be wrong with it except maybe a blown transformer.

Wow! Someone had bid $75.00 for an old P.S. that the owner clearly states
it does not appear to work. Maybe I need to auction off some of my old junk
for an outrageous price.
The current owner says it does not seem to power up when plugged in. I am
not sure, this may be one of the older Icom P.S. that are turned on with the
on/off switch on the rig. My 720A & P.S. worked that way, the P.S. was
controlled by the rig's power switch. If you wanted to see if the P.S. was
working you had to use a jumper at the P.S. to rig connector plug to
substitute for the rigs power switch.
