[ICOM] IC-2KL: Adding 10 Meters

Hi Rich,

There is a modification procedure which involves ordering and installing the
10/12m mod kit (still available from Icom Parts, as far as I am aware.) The
mod is owner-installable, and is a 6-hour job. It involves re-populating the
10/12m LPF and associated selection relays, changing out the bandswitch and
front-panel bezel and adding a 10/12m indicator LED.

There is a detailed installation procedure here:

Click "IC-2KL Documents".

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Blank

What is needed to add 10 meters to a 2KL that doesnt already have it?
Can I do it or does it need to be sent back to Icom?

Thanks and 73,
