[Icom] ICM Mic element Problem

Fred... I've been getting poor audio reports with the Heil HC-4 element (the
"harsher" one for DXing) in my Heil BM-10 mike. For $2.49, I can afford to
try replacing it with that RS unit...:-). Did you continue to use the
special Heil mike cable for ICOM with the new RS mike element? 73, Jerry
