It's hard not to get upset when you discover you just paid good money
for something that doesn't work, especially when it is on a weekend and
you can't do a thing about it.
When I bought my Kenwood TS440sat when they were new, I didn't know I
could get the replacement from HRO. I bought it on Wednesday and it
died on Friday evening. I had to take it to Kennesaw, GA where the
technician kept the rig for 90 days and never fixed the problem. He did
fix it so it would never work on 12 volts again insisting it was factory
requirements. I still buy from HRO but he won't fix any more rigs for
me.
Good luck and enjoy the radio.
Buck
Please be on the look out for my stolen Yaesu FT-817 radio. Thank you.
