Hi Jerry,
In defence of Yaesu...
My 5 1/2-year-old Quadra is very happy with its IC-756Pro II exciter. Both
have been running flawlessly since I acquired them.
The only PM the Quadra has undergone is a cleaning with a computer vac every
couple of years, to remove accumulated dust and dog-hair. (Not products of
tobacco consumption; nobody smokes in my house or garden.)
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

The first thought that popped into my head was that putting in an FT rig
might be good if you were planning on scuttling the boat... but I'm too
polite to ever say anything like that out loud...;-) 73, Jerry K3BZ
(ex-FoxTango owner now extremely happy with 756ProII + PW-1)
