RE: the keypad,
If you find one at a great price and you have to decide at the spur of =
the moment, then get it, you can always sell it later. I personally =
don't think the remote keypad is needed. The combination of band =
switching with the BS switch and especially the TS button makes QSY-ing =
so quick yet positive (not overly touchy) that I do not miss the =
keyboard on the old generation of Icom HF rigs (745, 751, etc). Icom =
really hit it right with the combination of 1kHz step and not-too-many =
steps in the encoder of the knob. Other manufacturers make the tuning =
either way too ripid or so slow that it is almost as slow as the normal =
tuning speed.

Hello all,
I have an IC-751 and would like to know the answers to the following
questions if any one can
help.
Is the RC-10 keypad worth getting as a useful accessory to the radio?
I assume Icom made a speaker to match the IC-751, IC2KL, AT500, PS 30 =
line
up of matching equipment, if so can someone tell me the model number of =
it
please?
Thanks,
Des - VK3DMP.
