[Icom] Fwd: [QSL-Net] AOL Again

Most folks seem to be demanding an end to SPAM.
AOL, HoTMaiL, and others are trying to help out.
They provide their customers ways to sort out or
even delete mail from anybody that is not specifically
an authorized "source." Any mail received from a
sender that has not been "authorized" is put into
a JUNK MAIL or similar folder. Individual senders can
also be blocked. There may be a choice as to whether
to block the individual sender or any mail from the
"offending" mail forwarder. If the recipient chooses
the latter in error, the large-scale blocking may occur.
It makes it easier for recipients to look at such
mail and either delete it all, individually set the
new sender as okay, or simply move individual
messages to the INBOX.
I find it works just great.

Dick,
I think Yahoo is doing it sometimes also. Every once in a
while, the posts wind up in my trash bulk file, complements of
Yahoo.
I automatically clean out the Yahoo trash without hardly ever
seeing it due to the filth that Yahoo generates that winds up
there.

AOL is blocking mail from the QTH.net reflectors again. We
are trying to
get them to stop. In the meantime, if you are on AOL, you may
not see this
message for awhile ... if ever.

FYI..
AOL is blocking us again. I wrote them and tried calling them
on the phone.
After about 45 min on hold, I gave up.
I MAY block incoming mail from them to get their attention, if
this doesn't
stop soon.
Tim
