If you look in the User's Guide at the rear panel you will see any =
unlabeled
8-pin data connector next to the USB connector.  That appears to be an =
RJ-45
Ethernet port for the network.

Page 12-20 of the manual describes the IP address and IP mask field =
which I
would guess covers this port.  Minimal description in the manual.

Hmmmm.... one of the Icom reps there told me it was activated via a =
menue
choice for keyboard or future internet upgrades.  Perhaps I
misunderstood....
