I believe you will need to make an interface to 'key' the amp. The 
internal circuit in the radio is somewhat limited.  Or do what I do and 
use a heil foot switch to key the transceiver and amp. The new 
footswitch has 2 switches. One keys before the other so you c	an 
sequence the amp first.
