[Icom] Icom 781 composite video quality

I wonder if anyone else has used the composite video output of the IC-781
into a separate monitor? I just connected it to the composite video input
of a TV card I have in the PC and find it produces a pretty good image, but
notice a minor problem. In the bright and solid portions of the image, for
example, the top bar of the spectrum scope display which contains the words
"Spectrum Scope" has a slight leftward tilt to it (same for the function
button line at the bottom). It's been many, many years since I've thought
about TV video signals and can't recall what that might indicate, but am
thinking perhaps the video signal is a bit strong for the tuner card. Don't
know if the card has some sort of AGC for the composite input, but don't see
a way to control the gain either. Maybe will try an attenuator on the video
feed from the 781. Anyone have an idea on this?
