[Icom] IC 775DSP Display Backlighting

Cal,

This was mentioned as a problem in the QST Product Review of the IC-775DSP in 
the January, 1996 issue. I read the review recently before buying the 775. 
Others (including me) have not noticed the problem. I suggest that unless you 
get a good answer here you simply send a quick email to Icom Service -- they 
respond to such questions pretty quickly. I am not sure of the email address in 
Canada.
