No, 73 was sent as one group - other "surviving" number groups are:
88 - love and kisses
99 - keep out
33 - was made up by hams - so it doesn't trace its origins to commercial use
as the others do. It was noticed that 88 by woman to woman felt too strong
and mushy, so the 88 was reduced by cutting it in half, vertically! So 33
resulted.
