[Icom] Successor for 706MKIIG???

I have been in the market for a small HF radio like the FT-100, TS-50, or the
IC-706 and wondered the same thing. While not really an alternative to the
IC-706 or FT-100, I think the IC-703 is just an opportunity to milk a little
more from an old chassis. Perhaps should not say that without further comparison
of the IC-703 and the IC-706 but at least it is evident that Icom did not move
into a newer "all DSP" technology with the IC-703.
