Hi Floyd and all,

Yeppers, the dirt roads was a whopper but the duster is not. They are
great. Most of AR got electric power back in 1946 but then, most Icom's do
run on batteries.

Very few people believe that Arkansas has paved roads, or modern cities.

Several years back I was the general manager of a large Dillard's
distribution center in KC. Dillards is an AR based company and my secretary
once asked me how they could deliver stuff to KC from Little Rock during
the winter because surely the semi's would get stuck on the mud roads.
This is the gospel truth.

About 6 months later, I sent her to the Corporate office in AR for a
seminar, and I never heard another word about redneck hillbillies or mud
roads.

Check out the Icom rig dusters, you will love them.

Bill if you don't have paved roads and people in Arkansas don't wear shoes
(so I been told) then how do you know what an ICOM Radio is? By the way do
you have electricity in Arkansas or do you just watch the radio and dust
it?
Personally I think youall are telling us a whopper yes I do. ICOM through
Arkansas once and I did see a paved road yes I did and Airplanes were
landing on it yes they were. I saw them do it with my own eyes yes I did.

Does anyone know of a weekend class for a Technician License being made
available in Southeast Texas in the Houston - Beaumont - Lufkin area? Go to
class for a day or two and take the test before leaving? Thanks in advance.

Floyd
