When I had trouble with a OMNI 6 being damaged in shipment I showed the
driver and he said call UPS right away which I did I, also called TT who
had shipped it, they called UPS also from their end and with in 2 days
the UPS inspectors were at my front door to check it out. Before opening
the box I took photos ASAP and had them ready when they arrived. They
confirmed it and a I was given a claim number and ups picked it to send
back to TT.
I can't understand why a driver would try and deliver a damaged box to
begin with but guess thats their instructions and they want the customer
to do all the work. Lucky TT and the Seattle UPS inspectors were on the
ball and I had no problems getting it all squared away...Good luck and it
is a shame that the shipping departments handle OUR STUFF so poorly,
sound and looks like the shipping and receiving depots at UPS sites need
some strong QA types and supervisors watching them like hawks, 73 and
hope it some one makes it good for you, 73 Mac
