[Icom] Icom 7800 Introduced

Hi all,

I have downloaded and read the ICOM Pre-announcement brochure. From my
perspective, there is nothing there for which I would put out 8-10K. =
State
of the art DSP is considerably beyond what I saw in the brochure. I
currently own a 706 MIIG, 746PRO and IC-910H and I think they are good
values. I don't see that in the new equipment based on what I read.

My friend and I talked to the Icom rep who made the Dayton IC7800 later =
that
day--he stated prices would be "4 to 5 times the ProII--in the $10K =
range."
