I've purchased a few items from MFJ over the years, too. The last item I
bought was a tuner. When it arrived, it had a bad solder joint, and was a
very easy fix. Since then, the thing has worked very well. Luckily, MFJ
items are usually simpler pieces of equipment. All in all, I'd say that MFJ
has done a good job of providing inexpensive ham equipment.
