Hi Adam,

To borrow from a very old and much-recycled topic from eHam, the soldier
should have just made a home-made key with a couple of coins, hooked it into
the radio, and simply tapped out a CW message . . . because as everyone
knows, CW ALWAYS GETS THROUGH !

I hope I didn't start anything with this tongue-in-cheek post.

Anyway, to get back on-topic, my new PRO II should be here Thursday. I am
looking forward to getting it lashed up. I made an adapter cable from DIN to
24-pin molex so it's ready to play with the IC-2KL and AT-500.

Will report back on this later . . . and don't get any ideas about
converting me. This is "only a test" hii hi.
