Hi folks,

I use several of the MFJ 1701 6 position switches for switching between the
various Icom rigs and the dummy loads or antennas.

In the last 3 weeks or so I have been noticing higher than normal SWR to
the dummy loads and the antenna.

I substituted my SWR analyzer for some of the rigs and took some readings,
the SWR was not real good, in the neighborhood of 2.5 to 1 to the dummy
loads.

I did some troubleshooting and I found that the coax connectors on the
bottom of the MFJ switches were held on with Philips screws. Yep you
guessed it, every single one was loose.......

I checked all of the switches and they were all loose. So if you use any
of these it might be a good idea to check the screws..SWR is back to 1-1
now.
