You guys are all complaining about expensive radios and accessories, how 
about used rigs.  Try buying one here in Canada, a used rig that is.  It's 
actually cheaper for me to buy a car and insure it and put it on the road 
than it is to buy new radio, scary thought isn't it. For me buying a new rig 
is out of the question.  Buying a decent use rig will cost me anywhere 
between $1000 and $2000.  Its cheaper for me to buy Vaseline at a local drug 
store, I figure if you're going to get screwed due it the cheapest way, 
right!  If I buy anything lower than $1000 I'm looking at a tube rig, and 
believe you me, I don't want one, I've had them their crap.  There you go 
I've had my say.
