Hi,
Because the Amateur products are a niche industry, without the buying power=
=20
of massive amounts of consumers. That and they think most people will=20
grumble and then pay the price. I have several mic's and want to make a=20
bunch of adapters up for their use with different radios. If I purchased=20
the Icom adapters I would have to postpone my retirement :<}
