You bet,
http://www.qsl.net/g3vgr/civ.html
I've made a half dozen or more of these for myself and others. The design
is very tolerant of transistors, capacitors and resistors. Exact values are
not critical. The page now has pictures of a setup with a nicely made PC
board. I've been making mine with carefully placed parts, placing the
transistors in tandem and with a little shrink tubing, everything fits
inside the smaller DB-9 shell. All parts fit inside the width of the top
row of pins. If you simply put the electronics in a little project box
inline with the cable, it is not as neat, but a much easier fit. I've made
it work perfectly with a 746, 706Mk2G, R-75 (although it doesn't need the
C-IV, it still works with it). I've also used a "Y" cable at the rig to
control 2 rigs at a time and have them also talk to each other. If you
paralleled up the "tip" and "body" jacks in a box, you'd have a complete
multi rig control box.
Good Luck,
Roy
