Your story has been one of the most interesting on the list. I have read
every one! And what a story! Not only did you repair a fine radio, but YOU
also transitioned from TUBE to SOLID STATE in the process.
You may have many more radios in your life. You will certainly find a few
better radios. But this -THIS- 761 will always hold a special place in your
shack.
I wonder.... is it for sale? <grin>
