Hi Bill,

I just couldn't let this pass without saying  Thanks for putting this tale 
of persistent efforts up for all to see. Well done.

If ever there was a message about the need for persistence  in fault 
finding in worth while gear this was it.

I would hate to contemplate though the cost if your time was to be 
charged out at professional rates :-)...
