Thought I read in one of the reviews that the Euro version did this but
because of  the FCC thinking it would be abused they had to take it out in
the USA models.

Very sorry - no hack, no mod, not even in the Japanese domestic version of
the Pro or Pro II. At least not to my knowledge.

Maybe this has been asked before BUT:
has anyone come up with a hack/mod of the 756 PRO to enable
playback of the DVR for retransmit.  I was trying to
describe a ham's distorted audio verbally and playback would
have been very useful.
