Jack,
There is a way to switch the PS-35 out of the radio
but it will defeat the purpose.
A better way is to get a variac and reduce the input voltage to say 50
VAC.
Let the radio, in the on position, sit for about 12 hours or so and then
increase
the voltage by about 10 volt and wait another 12 hrs or so.
Increase the voltage another 10 volt following the steps above.
When you reached the normal input voltage of 115 / 120 VAC
let the radio sit another 24 hrs with the full power on.
The heat should dry out the power supply and there should be
no damage to radio or power supply.
Good luck!

Peter, NH6VB
