hi hart... ask the person for 2 ham references their home landlines (not
cell) and emails . check the ham references' phones against directory asst
on the qrz address.. ask him for his home and work landline ( not cell)
cross check it with directory assistance... match his address with qrz..
if they want it shipped to a different address, ask lots of questions, and
phone the ham who's number is attached to the qrz address..... and finally
if the person is a technician, make them ship first.. 90% of deals gone bad
