[Icom] Which GND for AF on mic conn.?

On the round Icom 8-pin microphone connector, which ground (GND) 
is the best for using with the Audio (AF, pin 8) output? Should 
I use the PTT GND (pin 6) or the MIC GND (pin 7)?

This is what I'm using for reference:

1 - Mic Input
2 - +8v DC output
3 - Freq UP/DN *
4 - Squelch Switch
5 - PTT
6 - Gnd (PTT Gnd)
7 - Gnd (Mic Gnd)
8 - AF Output

* Ground pin 3 directly to move one way, through a 470 ohm resistor 
to move the other way. (don't know which is which, though).
