[Icom] IC-756ProII & SGC-230 Tuner

Hello to all on the list! I recently purchased a new Icom IC-756 Pro II and
wanted to mate it to my SGC-230 Smartuner. Has anybody done this and is the
tuning circuit the same as compared to the IC-706? Also, I have the document
created by Phiippe, ON4BAW for interfacing the 706 to the 230 for backup
information. I noticed that they have the same connector but not sure if the
circuitry is the same. Unfortunately, I don't have a service manual on the
756 yet and don't have any schematics on the external tuner connector. If
anybody has any information, please let me know.
