Many thanks Adam for the PDF of the QST review of IC-765

Well, guess the heat sink vent is not getting too hot at all if finals
are bipolars. I was thinking maybe early power MOSFETS.

All I have is the skimpy Operators Manual !!!

Also , thanks to many others for info, I have the web site for
mod downloads.

Hi Larry,

Glad my information was helpful. Actually, the PA power devices are
bipolars. The IC-765 PA has about the best IP3/5 of any of the popular 13.8V
rigs. The ARRL Lab test report is attached.

If the heat sink temperature is below 40�C, there should not be a problem.
