[Icom] arrl e- mail spem help please

I have had an arrl.net address for at least three years.  I have half a
dozen other email addresses.  I receive maybe 50-100 spams a day.  I have
*never* received a spam message to the arrl.net address.

Why?

Because spam originates elsewhere.  The most common source is when you post
to the various lists.  These lists *all* have public web archives of your
postings.  These archives are mined for email addresses and you get spam.

Nothing to do with arrl.net unless, of course, you use that as the return
address for your postings.

If you don't want to invite spam, don't ever post to USENET newsgroups and
do not use your real address to post to lists.  If the lists have a web
archive, you'll get spammed.

Sorry guys -- blame yourselves, not the ARRL.
