Andy,

You are right. I do not mean to infer that solid state amps are problematic
due to audible distortion. In fact I have not personally (at least in recent
memory) sat down and analyzed the specs of solid state amps verses tube
amps. Nor can I speak from personal experience. My impression comes mainly
from others I have heard make comments on this subject. This is not very
objective I know. Sorry.

Concerning warranty service or any service for that matter. It is handled
for the US from Acom's office in Burlington, MA. Fortunately I have never
needed service but I have spoken to Krassy and others there at Acom who are
simply great for answering questions and providing whatever help they can. I
have heard from other customers who have had more need of their service.
They enthusiastically state that the service is excellent.
