You can read the specs on the sights of the manufacturers, or better
yet, read the ARRL reviews.  You will see the tube amp has much less
distortion.

Just curious--what are the specs for the two amps demonstrating the Acom
is
far superior with much less distortion? I have an even older Icom 4KL
and am
not aware of any distortion with the amp--I frequently get complimented

my signal.
