Been using a PW1 for 3 years. Currently driven by a 756 PRO and 746.
Once set up everything is seamless...antenna selection, band
selection, tuner per band, etc. Only complaint I have is the fan
noise...when all fans are engaged it can be quite loud. Otherwise a
great amp.
By the way, if looking for one on the used market be aware there are
two "versions". Earlier production models required the amp to be
turned on even if you were planning to go barefoot. This was necessary
to use antenna selector, band switch, etc. A later "model" came out
about June 2000 that only required the amp to be on if you wanted the
extra power. Older versions cannot be upgraded to the new.
