The virus attached to this mail was Bugbear.B

What probably happened: Someone subscribing to the list got his/her 
computer infected by this virus. Then the virus scanned all e-mail messages 
stored at the victims computer, extracting addresses to send itself to. If 
the victim has saved most messages from the list received for years, our 
addresses will be there. After terminating antivirus- and firewall 
processes at the victims computer, if they exist, the virus sent itself to 
all of us.
