[Icom] IC-R8500 Questions ?????

I am in the process of acquiring a Tektronix spectrum analyzer and have =
a
couple of questions for those who may have had similar experiences with =
the
R8500.  I would like to interface the IF output to the spectrum =
analyzer,
but apparently there is 9 VDC on this output for the TV option.  Could I
assume that a DC block would solve the 9 VDC issue, but then, does =
anyone
know about bandwidth (assuming, again, limitations) or even if the IF =
out is
usable for the application of a spectrum analyzer.  I would appreciate =
any
comments or suggestions in this regard.  And, as always, a heap of =
advance
