[Icom] ICOM has some competition...

Hi Chris,

Yes I have one. It is rated at 17 AH, I actually bought it for charging
batteries for my RC helicopters and airplanes in the field. I leave it in
the back of my mini van and have it connected to the power outlet in the
back. This outlet is only hot when the ignition is on, so it charges the
pack when I am driving. I modified the DC to DC charging cord with a diode
so the booster battery is charged by the van, but it does not supply power
to the van. It works very well and has even come in handy for giving others
a jump start. It has a built in AC charger that will not overcharge if left
on. It works well for my purpose and I have used it for recharging my HTs
when camping.
