I think we all have frustrations with modern customer service: "Touch 2",
"Touch 8", "your call is important to us", wait 5, or 50 minutes. However, it's
what we're going to get from major corporations. Get used to it! Even in a
small business, like the place I work, I can be on the line, with two calls on
hold, when the next call arrives. In that case the third caller is going to
have to wait, call back or leave a message.
It's what happens after we get through to a HUMAN which is important. In
that regard, I have no complaints from ICOM. Like others I have gotten correct
items, delivered quickly. I, too, have gotten some "freebies."
If you find a "Ham Heaven" where your call is answered by a person on the 1st
or 2d ring, your parts are always in stock, shipped to arrive the next day,
and discount priced, besides--let me know about this fantastic company!
However, I won't hold my breath waiting.
