[Icom] Fw: RTTY setup 756 PRO II

Mike, per the manual, page 13, Pin 4 (transmit input) is shown to require
"approx. 100 mV rms) signal level. Pin 5 (receive audio) shows an output
level of 100-300 mV rms. These are generally regarded as "line-level "
signal amplitudes.

I am unaware of any user adjustments to change these levels unless there are
steps in the alignment procedure to set them. I do not have my service
manual at hand to check this.

Pages 79-82 contain a list of all CI-V commands. Included are commands for
filter selection but they are concealed.

The command should first select the mode using Command 06 and a Sub-Command,
such as 04 for RTTY. In the "data area" for the command after the 06 and 04
comes either 01, 02 or 03 where the numbers designate the first, second and
third filters stored for that mode.

The manual does a good job of listing all the available commands - and there
are many more than for the PRO - but omits most of the needed detail on
actually using them. I find that a lot of guess and test eventually produces
the desired results.

Hope this helps . . .
