[Icom] ICOMs & 60 Meters

This started out to be a thanks for the help on my 706 installation but =
the 60-Meter tsunami swept over the reflector in the interim. It seems =
pretty certain that new ICOM introductions are going to have to address =
this band and the issues surrounding it and it appears that there are no =
simple ICOM mods.

But this discussion validates completely my opinion that we have some of =
the smartest,  most inventive and helpful people in amateur radio =
contributing to this reflector. A couple of days and this 60-Meter thing =
has been pretty well torn apart.  Can't think of what other venue could =
have done this so fast.  It is always an education reading this =
reflector.
