[Icom] IC765 on 60 meters

Quick check with my 765 shows 105 watts output on 5338.5 into a dummy load
on RTTY.

I would assume that SSB operation will be OK on those frequencies, but we
should check with a station monitor to be sure. When I get time, I do a
two-tone check and r-f output envelope look-see to make sure that nothing is
awry

Obviously, the magic diode in the 765 was clipped a long time ago since I
use the 765 as an all-mode, all-frequency "signal generator" as much as a
transceiver.

What a great old box! Sure would hate to part with mine - had it since new
in 1990 and she still looks and runs like new.
