Can anyone tell me whether the OPC-589 8 pin adapter to the 706's rj45 will
work with a Kenwood MC-60A desk microphone?

I bought the 706II as a backup rig for my TS-940 and don't want to buy the
SM-8 (which has just been replaced) unless it's necessary.
