I like that 6m has been included tho in some cases, it *may* not beat a separate
xcvr/IF setup - all are not created equal.  I am fortunate in that I have
separate radios in use for 6m & HF.  I understand the argument about the
compromises with the (almost) one octave extension, but with modern filtering,
it shouldn't be too great an issue and there is no problem with current devices
(transistors).  I am a bit leery of some units that include 2m and higher
freqs.  For 144 and higher, I prefer the xvtr route for serious weak signal
work.  If one does go the xvtr route on six, the DEM xvtr  & the SSB Elec. LT6
are the best on the mkt.

No flames folks, please, much of this is subjective tho some purists may see it
otherwise.
