Hi Cal
Very recently my 775DSP had exactly the same problem, however I put up with
it, but in the end a transistor associated with the display burnt out, and
in the process did damage to the circuit board.

If you don't want expensive repairs - take it in soon before the worst
happens.

Subject: [Icom] IC 775DSP Display Backlighting

Hi Guys n Gals too: My 775 display lighting has begun to flicker from
bright to dim ,very annoying to say the least. A gentle tp with my hand
in the display area causes it to become more unstable. The display is
presently P-Set to Lo. Could it be a humidity problem? Any ideas? Tnx in
advance. Vy 73 de Cal VE4XQ.
