Hi Max,
If the 0 ~ 7.999 MHz range is dead on both RX and TX, this is typically a
sign that VCO #1 (the lowest range) in the "A" synthesiser (PLL) has failed.
To check this, try switching to the "B" synthesiser. The easiest way to do
this is to enable Dual Watch, and check whether you can receive signals on
the "B" VFO. If you can, you can check TX by enabling Split and checking for
RF output when transmitting on the "B" VFO.
Please let me know what you find out from this test.

Subject: [Icom] Re: PRO II FAILURE
Hello Guys,
I was on Pianosa island during the last IOTA contest.
After the landing and the antenna set up I toke the PROII from the box
(Pelikan case!) and tested the setup, all went fine.
Next morning I toke the PROII again from the box and no way to make it work
below 8.0 MHz.
No signals both in RX and in TX between 0.0 MHz and 7.999 Mhz.
All the rest run fine and we done a good job on the higher bands...!
Any suggestion?
