[Icom] IC-706 MK IIG mobile

I have the solution that worked for me.  IT WAS THE CONNECTORS FOR THE
REMOTE CABLE, at the 706 main body.  Burnished, firmly plugged the cable
into the radio .. end of problem.  Only took 3 days to figure that gem out!

I have a IC-706 MK IIG mobile.  Everything works good with one exception.  I
was installing Am-Com ASAC controller for the High Sierra antenna.  It gets
false halts, false direction and just plain not working on 40.  Am-Com tech
thought it was RF feed back.  I pleased donuts on every line to and from the
IC-706 and ASAC, added more grounds etc.  With no change.  Does anyone have
the ASAC working correctly, and what did you do to get there?
