[Icom] Brand New ICOM 706 MKIIG with an odor

Hello All,

My brand new ICOM 706 MKIIG has for lack of a better description a
warm/hot "electrical" smell when its on. It seems to be more obvious
while transmitting. I have another 706 MKIIG in my car that  doesn't
seem to have the smell . I was thinking that perhaps its because its new
, but I don't recall my other 706 having a smell when it was new.

The rig works fine and the fan is doing its thing as well.

Anyone else have any experiences re: this ?
