[Icom] Icom T81A receiving mod

I have a chance to pick up an Icom T81A, serial number
#01574.  I had one of these units before which had a
later serial number.  I really like the radio, and
would like to get one which allows for the keypad
receive mod.  I used to have a T8A and loved the FM
and TV receive on that, and would like to get a T81A
that receives the same.  I know that the early models
could be opened up this way, but the later ones
couldn't.  Does anyone know the serial number cut off
for the keypad mod?  is 1574 early enough or not?
